I was born in Perth. I became curious about the surf and storms of the state through friends. I saved to become a freelance photographer. 

I thought I was some pioneer, travelling to these remote places for natural events. Then the mobile phone arrived and I realised I was very common. I'm not really interested in travel outside of this state. Now, I reside in the remote Pilbara, where it is frequently beautiful.
